Pointsbet Review
Born in the USA but staking their claim on the Australian betting scene in a big way, Pointsbet are a fresh look at sports betting for Australian punters.
Fixed odds, spread betting, live betting, Australian favourites, US sports - you name it, they've got it.
✅ What we love about Pointsbet
- Great selection of odds for the world's most popular sports
- Unrivalled when it comes to US sports in Australia
- Offers spread betting - a newer way to bet than just fixed odds
- Great betting app with every available feature
- Number of banking options and deposit methods
- Range of cash out and other features
❌ What they need to work on
- Horse racing options more limited than other bookmakers
☝️ Our Verdict
We're big fans of Pointsbet. For us they intersect somewhere between one of the bigger, international brand names such as Bet365, and the more niche strictly Australian newcomers like PlayUp and Neds.
Great for Australian sports for sure, but if you're looking for something out of the Australian arena, particular for US sports or MMA then Pointsbet should be your go to. One of the few Australian bookmakers to truly excel.
Pointsbet Promotion
From 2018 it has been currently prohibited to display any type of betting promotion, bonus bets or sign up bonus or offers according to Australian law, regardless of state or territory.
In order to access any of these added extras you will first need to register a new betting account. We'll show you how!
How to get access to Pointsbet in just a few simple steps

Pointsbet Promo Code
Some betting sites offer promo codes in conjunction with registering for a new account or in order to unlock specific promotions or offers.
As of yet they are no special Pointsbet Promo Codes. When you login in the website the most common type of promo code you will usually see is the "WELCOME" promo code. Unless you have another special promo code to input, ensure the welcome promo code is in the form on the sign up as you can see below.
Pointsbet promo codes work in the same way as how other betting sites use promo codes, usually in conjunction with signing up or unlocking new promotions.
Once you have signed up to a new Pointsbet account make sure to check your account, your email inbox and the "Promos" section of the website to see if any new promotions require a promo code.
