Goals on both ends at Villa Park
Derby Day despair...
Spurs are coming off of a 3-1 humbling in the North London Derby in the Premier League last week. Prior to this, two consecutive 3-0 losses to Crystal Palace and then Chelsea has meant that Nuno Espirito Santo’s men are desperate for a league win. A morale-boosting 5-1 win against NS Mura in the Europa League will give Nuno confidence, especially with Harry Kane grabbing a hat-trick. But the visitors themselves are building up some momentum, and Aston Villa are beginning to find their form.
Theatre of the Villains Dreams
Dean Smith’s side claimed a memorable 0-1 win at Old Trafford last weekend, seeing off the Red Devils in dramatic fashion. Kourtney Hause’s header followed by Bruno Fernandes’s moon-orbiting spot-kick meant that the Villains escaped with all three points. A 3-0 win against Everton prior to this means Aston Villa are on-from so far and they’re on goalscoring form too, with Watkins and Ings both very likely to get on the scoresheet.
Kane back for more?
Spurs definitely need to bounce back. And while their recent form has been pretty disastrous, they’re likely to reclaim some sort of good form and this torrid patch won’t last forever. With Kane also back in the goals and seeming like he almost cares, they should score at least once against a Villa side that have been patchy defensively.
Villa should look to extend their good form against a struggling Spurs side, but this could be the game that Nuno’s men turn their bad form around. That’s why I’m more tempted by the goals bet more, and both teams should be looking to score here. That’s why I’m going with Both Teams to Score with bet365.
