All change on Tyneside but Son to crash the party
Cash to splash now Ashley's gone
Steve Bruce takes charge of his 1000th game on Sunday as his struggling Newcastle side take on Spurs at St James' Park. The big news is Newcastle's ongoing takeover saga has reached its finale, with a consortium led by Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund purchasing the club from the unpopular Mike Ashley. The tide will change for the Toon, but not in time for Sunday's game and I fear their welcoming party for their new owners could be spoilt by a Spurs side on a war path back to good form.
Nuno out for three points
Spurs are looking to find some form after a disastrous September. A 2-1 win against Aston Villa will give Nuno's men cause for confidence, and with a tough set of fixtures hitting them after Sunday, they'll be even more keen to take the win from Tyneside. With selection issues due to mid-week internationals in South America, Spurs will once again look to the usual suspects of Harry Kane and Son to carry the attacking load for them.
Son scoring for fun
The South-Korean has had a stellar start to the season, despite his teams best efforts to make this a season to forget. His three goals have been only part of the story, with his pace and direct running constantly causing opposition defences nightmares. I can see Son bagging a goal on Sunday and with Kane looking a shadow of his usual self, Nuno will be near-relying on Son to be the focal point of his attack.
Calling an outright between these two, very inconsistent sides, is a risky game, I feel this fixture leans more towards an individual who will make the difference. That's why I'm going with Heung-Min Son to score anytime with bet365.
