Surprising top of the table showdown
Leicester travel to London to do battle against Crystal Palace this Sunday in a very interesting bout that see's number 3 go up against number 6. This is undeniably a game between two "top" teams but both could drop places with a bad result here, read on for more!
Crystal Palace
The Eagles have started the campaign far exceeding anyone, if not everyones expectations. Four wins, three draws and two defeats is a very acceptable haul considering the fact that they have played both Manchester teams, Tottenham and Arsenal within that time frame.
Hard to break down
Definitely worth mentioning is that two of the defeats came against the Citizens (Manchester City) and Tottenham but the third defeat was actually an undeserved one against Sheffield early on in the season meaning that Palace are undoubtedly a very hard outfit to break down.
Strong at Selhurst Park
Furthermore, Hodgson's men have only suffered defeat once at home so far, a 0-2 defeat against Guardiola and co. while having scored four and only conceding three in their 5 home games thus far, a job well done indeed.
Leicester are in fine form at the moment but so are Palace, expect Selhurst to rise to the occasion.
Leicester
The fox's grabbed all the headlines last weekend when they absolutely demolished Southampton with 9-0 away from home(!) matching Man United's record win of 9-0 against Ipswich Town in 1995.
Rise to the top
Leicester are undoubtedly having a grand time of things at the moment and, as mentioned before, can be found sitting pretty at 3rd just two points behind Manchester City but only above Chelsea on goal difference.
Solid at the front AND back
They have the second best goal difference in the Prem and many of you might be thinking that it's really not that strange to due their 9-0 drubbing of the Saint's but the matter of fact is that Leicester have the joint lowest amount of goals conceded (8) this season only matched by Liverpool and Sheffield United.
Misleading statistic
Another aspect that can be perceived as negative is their away form of two wins, a draw and two defeats but among those away days include travels to the toughest teams around in Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Sheffield (whom they managed to beat) so definitely expect that statistic to improve.
Brendan Rodger's looks to have done something special at Leicester and with the way things are going, a top 4 finish is most certainly not off the cards.
Betting tip
Both teams are in fine form and rarely fail to find the back of the net which is why i will be backing Both teams to score at 4/5 with Bet365.
