Bees to sting hapless Wolves
Brentford will be looking to turn in a far better performance against another manageress side when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League at home on Saturday. The Bees were smashed 4-0 by Aston Villa before the latter appointed Unai Emery, and the visitors suffered the same scoreline against Leicester City in what is quickly a nightmare season for them. Raya of light
Despite that big setback, Thomas Frank's side sit in 11th place, five points and nine places above their opponents this weekend. David Raya has been one of the most consistent performers, pulling off some excellent saves of late, including making the Villa match at least a little respectable. There are no fresh injury concerns to deal with, so the XI could stay the same. Ivan Toney is currently the fourth top scorer in the division, and adding to his tally of eight on Saturday would be very timely.
Brother Nathan
Unusually, it's now been an entire month since the away side had a permanent head coach, and, having been turned down by Michael Beale at Queens Park Rangers, they seem no closer to a new appointment. Their displays were largely abject and powderpuff in attack before sacking Bruno Lage, and that hasn't changed under interim boss Steve Davis. Nathan Collins admitted he and his teammates were well below the required standard against Leicester, and a vast improvement is needed to lift morale.
