It's going to get worse for United at the Emirates
Manchester United supporters travel to the Emirates to watch their side take on Arsenal in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off in the Premier League, assured that Erik ten Hag will be the manager next season. However, there are still five games remaining of this one, and they're looking increasingly bleak for the visitors. Read our preview here:
Steady Eddie
Mikel Arteta's charges upended their own recent slump with a deeply impressive 4-2 away win at Chelsea in midweek, capitalising expertly on some surprisingly poor defensive decisions by the hosts. Those lapses are commonplace for the Red Devils however, and Eddie Nketiah, on a high from bagging a brace against the Gunners' London rivals, is set to lead the line once more. The striker showed some great composure for both goals, and should retain his place despite Alexandre Lacazette's return. The youngster will be backed up with ample support from the likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Martin Ødegaard, and Bukayo Saka.
A new Dalot
Ralf Rangnick has freely admitted that there is a big rebuilding job to be done at Old Trafford over the summer, but his immediate task is to secure some form of European football, regardless of what capacity he's kept on in after May. Cristiano Ronaldo should return, but Harry Maguire could be omitted - the centre back received a credible bomb threat several days ago. Diogo Dalot should continue at right-back, and though probably not the individual ten Hag will want down that flank next term, he can still be effective in attacking situations. The hosts are at their weakest in that area, and it should be the main strategy to exploit that.
Betting tip
Whilst Arsenal are far from the finished article themselves, there is at least an identity in the squad and how Arteta approaches games. That cannot be said of the visitors, who rely far too much on individualistic brilliance to win. bet365 have odds of 2.10 for three points to remain at the Emirates, which will simultaneously boost the Gunners' top four pretensions whilst destroying Man Utd's.
