What is the difference between in-person and mobile sports betting?

There are two types of regulations for sports betting in the United States. In-person sports betting and mobile sports betting.

Sports betting became legal in the DC area back in the Fall of 2021 but is highly restricted. Some peculiarities exist within the landscape of DC sports betting. We've cherry picked some of the most common questions to iron these inconsistencies out for you. 

Is sports betting more limited in DC than elsewhere?

Somewhat yes. In-person, physical sports betting is limited to just a handful of locations.

Why aren't there more online sports betting options in DC?
