Champs League spots in sight
Wolverhampton travel to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday in their quest for a Champions League spot but face one of their biggest rivals in the form of Tottenham F.C. Wolves will be looking to continue upon their 3 game unbeaten league form whilst Tottenham are out for revenge after losing 2 straight games.
Tottenham
Mourinho's men are coming off the back of a very disappointing London derby defeat to Chelsea (2-1) and will be looking to bounce back immediately despite Sundays tricky opposition.
Injury woes
With both Kane and Son out injured, Tottenham's punching power has decreased significantly with both chances created and touches in the box drastically reduced which makes it glaringly and worryingly obvious how reliant the Lilywhites are on their fix-stars. The fact that none of the other players have properly stepped up to the plate at all is also a worrying affair.
Decent form despite recent setbacks
Tottenham were, prior to their loss at Chelsea, on a 4 game defeat-less streak with the goal difference of 8-4 during a period when they faced the likes of Manchester City but all that was before Sonny got injured.
Spurs fans will be, and should be worried about their attacking ability at the moment as they come up against a Wolves side that has not conceded in 4 of their last 5 games.
Wolverhampton
Nuno's men should currently be on cloud 9, or close to it due to recent results which has seen them draw against Manchester United (0-0 A) and Leicester (0-0 H), win against Norwich (3-0) and advance in the Europa League against Espanyol.
Still in the race
The Wolves can currently be found at 8th with only 2 points up to Manchester United in 5th and 5 points to 4th placed Chelsea meaning that they are well in the hunt for a Champions League spot which is borderline sensational given the quality in the league.
Impressive form despite fixture list
Wolverhampton will be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel following their, by far, hardest fixture period of the season which has pit them against the likes of Man U, Leicester, Liverpool and now Tottenham all in the space of a little over a month.
This will definitely have them in good spirits seeing how the fixture list eases up significantly after this Tottenham game and just sitting on the knowledge that they could be playing with the real big boys next season should be motivation enough.
Betting tip
Given that Tottenham are strong on their own turf and Wolverhampton are in good form i will be backing Both teams to score at 9/10 with Betway.
