Spurs to find their mettle and hold Man City
Having seen Arsenal unexpectedly lose yesterday to a Sean Dyche led Everton, Manchester City go into their game away at the Gunners' north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon with a big chance to cut the gap at the top of the table to just two points, though the leaders would still have a game in hand. Son rising
Antonio Conte's side came through what could've been a tricky FA Cup tie at Championship side Preston North End last week with flying colours, and the game from his perspective was mostly significant because of the return to form of Heung-min Son. The South Korean forward bagged a brace to halt a barren run of form that had started before his eye injury and the World Cup. The goals were especially timely as Arnaut Danjuma has been recruited at the same time as Richarlison's return to fitness. This combination of events now provides the head coach with at least four excellent options either side of Harry Kane in attack. Pedro Porro could also make his debut from the bench.
In Lew
After João Cancelo's dramatic exit to Bayern Munich without an immediate replacement being lined up in January, Pep Guardiola has put huge faith in youngster Rico Lewis to continue his highly mature displays at left-back, with the only other out-and-out option being Sergio Gómez. He could be pushed up with John Stones out into a wing-back position if a three-man backline is carried into this crucial clash. Phil Foden is the only other likely absentee.
Betting tip
Casumo have odds of 3.95 for a draw that would be a blow to both teams' ambitions.
