Spurs won't lose
The Spurs vs. Chelsea London derby is the perfect way to round off the Saturday's Premier League action. In this match the home team for some unknown reason are being considered the underdogs. This should be taken advantage of.
Spurs
Spurs may not have set the world alight this season, but at the same time after squeezing out victories they still find themselves in the upper echelons of the league. If you include cup games they've now won four in a row.
What's been the deciding factor for Spurs over the recent months have been the injuries to their key players. They still have a significant amount of players missing but are now starting to get some of their big names back.
Eriksen is ready from the start (played for Denmark on Monday but was subbed off early) and Alli came on in the 64th minute for England on Sunday and should be available to play on the weekend. Trippier has still been labelled as a doubt by the physios but the general consensus is he will be fit for the game. Kane will also be playing and will no doubt be buoyed by his winner against Croatia.
Spurs are looking strong again and I'm just not buying it that Tottenham have become the underdogs against Chelsea on Saturday.
Chelsea
Chelsea have performed better overall this season than Spurs but still lie only one point above them in the table. They also come into this game in fine form, with Hazard back in full flow, and undefeated in the Premier League.
Despite all of this, I don't think they're clear favourites for this match considering their opposition is of such a high calibre. It should also be said that Chelsea have had a particularly light schedule so far, having only had to play Liverpool and Man Utd (both at home) out of the big teams; both games they drew.
Also, a big minus for Chelsea is that they've still not really found a clear out-and-out striker who can bang in the goals. Morata's weak performance against Everton (0-0) can only mean the bench for him and a new chance for Giroud.
Betting tips
I think that Spurs should be considered the favourites here, although the most likely result I believe is a draw. With that said I'll be betting on X (home no bet) with Betfair.
