Citizens towards glory
Will Manchester City take a giant leap towards their second straight Premier League title or will Leicester keep their Europa League dream alive?
Manchester City
What an amazing season The Citizen's have had and if they do end up lifting the trophy in a fortnight no one can say it was not well deserved. Guardiola and co have won all but one of their last 18 home games and have won a whopping 30 of their so far 36 games played. Incredible.
Main man Aguero scored the only goal in City's recent 0-1 win away to Burnley and is definitely in form coming into the final 2 weeks of the season, he basically single-handedly won City the title back in the 2013/14 season and looks to be doing so again which is why i really cannot see Manchester City dropping any points. I have so much faith in the Argentinian that i've kept him as my captain in Fantasy PL for quite literally the whole season, even when he hasn't been available. On a more serious note though, with Sterling really showing that he's deserved the accolade as one of the worlds best wingers and either Sane or Bernardo Silva on the other wing its harder not to score than to actually do so and Leicester are no exception.
With the title on the line i expect an absolutely merciless Manchester City to show why they deserve to be called the best team in England.
Notable absentees
Bravo, De Bruyne, Delph (is it notable though?), Fernandinho and Mendy.
Leicester
Since Brendan Rodgers took charge Leicester City have won 5, drawn 1 and lost 1 and have somehow managed to stay in with a chance of playing in next seasons Europa League which was unthinkable during the latter stages of Claude Puel's reign. As a whole, The Foxes away stats are not too shabby with 7 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses but worth remembering is that the stats have been much improved in recent times due to Rodgers being an exceptional coach so their is of course the possibility of an upset at the Etihad, albeit a small one but still a chance.
Leicester hitman Vardy has really hit his stride during Brendan's ongoing tenure and has managed to score 8 goals in his last 7 games meaning that the speedy 32 year old could cause some serious damage on the counter.
Notable absentees
Morgan and Amartey.
Betting tip
Leicester have looked good in recent weeks but let's get real, its a Manchester City side fighting for the title, at the Etihad. This should in all honesty be a routine win for the sky blues, given that no strange occurrences materialise of course.
With this in mind, i will be backing a Manchester City (-1) handicap win at 43/100 with Bethard.
A bet that looks enticing for people seeking better value is Manchester City to win and both teams to score at 6/5.
