Foxes hunted by resurgent Manchester United
Leicester City find themselves at the bottom of the Premier League table after four matches, taking just a single point in those games and conceding 10 goals in the process. They will host Manchester United on Thursday evening at the King Power Stadium. The Red Devils have won their last two fixtures and will be hoping to make that a trifecta against a backdrop of growing discontent under Brendan Rodgers and the situation in the transfer market. Daniel didn't deliver
With Wesley Fofana set to complete his long-awaited move away from the club at the time of writing, his departure has opened a can of worms for the Foxes. Rodgers has insisted that outgoings need to take place to fund cheaper replacements as has happened in numerous previous summers, but he could be set to lose Youri Tielemans in the final days of the window, too. Both players will be difficult to compensate for from many different perspectives. In the meantime, Daniel Amartey remains ill-suited for a central defensive role, but has been deployed there because of a perceived lack of competition. Susceptible in the air, the Ghanaian could be in big trouble if Cristiano Ronaldo is restored to the visitors' first XI.
Bruno's knockout blow
Bruno Fernandes always seems to have more licence to roam when compatriot Ronaldo isn't in the same side, but might find his metaphorical wings clipped if Erik ten Hag opts to rotate several members of the XI with the following game at the weekend with Arsenal in mind. Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, and Fred could all come back in, temporarily at least. The head coach has once again raided old club Ajax in the transfer market, with a huge fee agreed for Brazilian winger Antony. Even if registered in time, the 22 year old has missed a lot of training in the past week, meaning his introduction to the Old Trafford crowd might make to wait a little while longer.
Betting tip
With some confidence restored in the Red Devils' ranks, Parimatch have odds of 3.40 for Man Utd to get a third win on the bounce with both teams scoring.
