Battle for Europe at the King Power
With 3 games remaining Arsenal have their backs up against the wall regarding their push for next years edition of the Champions League. Leicester have a slim chance of qualifying for next years Europa League but have 3 tough fixtures ahead of them. Who will triumph in their quest for European game time?
Arsenal
As soon as i praise Arsenal and Emery they go and mess everything up, they lost at HOME to Crystal Palace with the dynamic duo of Guendouzi and Elneny in the middle which was absolute shambles then they go and produce a total lacklustre display against a Wolverhampton side who are, to be fair, very useful. Luckily for the Gunners their last 3 fixtures are against Leicester, Brighton and Burnley so all is not lost as of yet but if the Northern Londoners do not take all 3 points away to Leicester things will be looking grim indeed. Arsenal's biggest problem is that their away form is under all critique, of their 17 away games they have 6 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses which is simply not acceptable for a team looking to play in the Champions League. Not to mention the fact that the Gunners defence has shipped 21 goals in their last 11 away games. These are the kind of games a teams true grit and determination is tested and now is the time for Emery's men to step up and show what they actually are made of.
Notable absentees
Bellerin, Welbeck, Ramsey, Suarez and Holding.
Leicester
The Foxes come into this game very much in-form having won 5 of their last 8 games and despite the fact that none of those victories came against very strong sides winning football games is all one can ask for. Since bringing in current manager Brendan Rogers Leicester are more lethal going forward and have scored in all but 1 of their last 10 games, which is a good sign going into this clash against a highly unreliable Arsenal defence. Roger's men still have a slight chance of qualifying for next years Europa League but that is more wishful thinking rather than a concrete goal since their last 3 games are against Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea. However, stranger things have happened and if Leicester manage to beat Arsenal on Sunday they could very well snatch a point or 3 against Chelsea at home and qualify for the EL.
Notable absentees
Amartey.
Betting tip
This game is a hard one to call but given Arsenals shoddy defence i will be backing Over 2.5 goals at 31/50 with Bethard.
