Aston Villa and Leeds to battle to a draw
Aston Villa will want to put the shock late defeat to fourth tier side Stevenage in the FA Cup at the weekend swiftly behind them when they welcome Leeds United to Birmingham on Friday night in the Premier League. Read our preview here:
Under Boub
Leander Dendocker's dismissal directly led to the collapse on Sunday, and he'll join the likes of John McGinn and Diego Carlos in the stands. Unai Emery signed Real Betis left-back Alex Moreno earlier this week, but he is unlikely to play any part just yet. A solid if unspectacular 4-4-2 as the head coach's staple formation is set to be deployed, which relies heavily on the two central midfielders covering a lot of ground. Boubacar Kamara is certainly capable of that, but has offered little to date in the final third. On the right flank, Leon Bailey continues to misfire when given presentable opportunities to score, but a lot of faith is being shown in him to come good in a claret and blue jersey.
Roca all night
Meanwhile, The Whites battled back from two down to earn a replay in their tussle with Cardiff City. With no fresh injury concerns, Jesse Marsch will be hopeful Patrick Bamford can play some part in proceedings, though Rodrigo isn't struggling for goals in his place, having already reached double figures for the campaign. The double pivot of Marc Roca and Tyler Adams ensures the front four can mainly concentrate on pressing the opposition high up the pitch, and both of the duo are capable of late runs to the edge of the box to offer another option to shoot.
Betting tip
