Gunners to pile more misery on the Blades?
Arsenal welcome Sheffield to the Emirates on Saturday afternoon during matchday 4 of the Premier League. The pair find themselves on opposite halves of the table after ending last season only 2 points apart with both of last seasons games being very tight affairs. The question is, will this one be like the ones before?
Arsenal
The Gunners are coming off the back of both a defeat and victory against none other than Liverpool. The champions won the more important bout of the two but Arsenal knocked them out of the Carabao Cup exacting some revenge.
Has Arteta fixed the leak?
Liverpool dominated both games and would have won both had it not been for the heroics of Bernd Leno, however, Arsenal look far more solid in the back compared to how it has looked the last few years which is an exciting prospect for all gooners.
A changed team
Arsenal are definitely a hard outfit to beat, Aubameyang is lethal going forward whilst the addition of Gabriel along with the vast improvements made to the defence since Arteta's arrival have got Arsenal looking rightfully invigorated.
The Londoners have won 5 and lost 1 of their first 6 games across all competitions and i suspect they will be feeling very optimistic about this game as well.
Sheffield
All the hard work and progress made last season seem to have disappeared during the summer break leaving Sheffield looking like early relegation contenders. It is of course still very early in the season so too much can't be said yet but what can be said is that Sheffield definitely need to up their game.
Not looking too good
The Blades have lost all 3 of their opening Prem games and were also booted out of the Carabao cup by Burnley making this an absolutely abysmal start to the campaign. Whats worse is that they have only managed to score a grand total of 1 goal across all competitions whilst conceding 5. They might not have been a goal machine last season but the last few games are too far a cry from what they managed to produce before their summer vacations which is a great cause for worry.
Sheffield need to get back on track and the best way in doing that is by winning. This is however probably not the game they change their fortunes in.
Betting tip
Arsenal have looked impressive so far whilst Sheffield can't seem to score no matter how hard they try which is why i am backing Arsenal to win and both teams to not score at 2.40 with Betway.
