Brexit, in any of its forms will have a huge effect on the betting industry. Many of the UK based companies like Bet365, PaddyPower and Betfair will be following the Brexit negotiations closely, as they straddle a number of EU countries; many have offices in the UK as well as Malta and Gibraltar.
The betting industry is strictly regulated, but betting companies have, over time, settled in different locations to ensure they get the best deal. This could all change with Brexit.
But, in the mean time they've decided to turn it into another business opportunity.
