Wrexham to continue Hollywood dream in FA Cup
Joint National League leaders Wrexham will look to continue their deep run in the FA Cup when they play hosts to Sheffield United. The visitors are also riding high in the Championship, second only behind Burnley. The Blades are in fine form of late but the side three tiers below them have proven already in the competition that they can mix it up with quality opposition, having seen off Coventry City in a 4-3 thriller in the third round. Mull it over
The Dragons have three players in their squad who have already managed to bag goals in double figures this term, including centre back Aaron Hayden, who has an incredible 11 to his name. Phil Parkinson will line up his charges in a 3-4-1-2, with Hayden the middle of the defensive trio and the wing-backs motoring up and down the flanks. In midfield, Elliott Lee pulls the strings in the hole, offering creativity in central areas for the likes of Ollie Palmer and Paul Mullin to feed off. The strike partnership have a combined 39 in league and cup, with the latter boasting 26 of his own and in imperious form. His adversaries will know all bout the danger he possesses, but stopping it is another matter entirely.
Lowe on a high
Paul Heckingbottom's charges are no slouches either in the final third, but also keep things tight in their own defence. However, they will be missing the likes of Ciaran Clark, Enda Stevens, and George Baldock from their backline, with the trio making up a large proportion of those absent from their team's trip to the Racecourse Ground. In Sander Berge and Oliver Norwood though, they have two of the finest midfielders outside the Premier League in England, and they will seek to dominate proceedings in the engine room. Out on the left, Max Lowe has laid on four goals in his last six appearances, proving that the source of danger for the opposition isn't restricted to one or two names.
Betting tip
It should be a brilliant spectacle in north Wales with both teams going for the jugular. Casumo have odds of 4.30 for Wrexham to pull off another shock and book their place in the fifth round.
