Do 2 leaky teams equal a goals galore?
The Hammers welcome The Canaries to London Stadium on matchday 4 of the English Premier League. Both teams are looking to build upon their decent starts and we are probably in for an exciting game given that the pair of them have conceded 7 goals each in 3 games but can either of them stop the leakage and snatch 3 points?
West Ham
Manuel Pellegrini's men finally claimed a well-deserved victory away at Watford last weekend and to be honest, it was about time too. With the team at Pellegrini's disposal it was only a matter of time before they won a game (obviously) and they can finally breathe a sigh of relief and look towards putting together a string of victories.
New signing Sebastian Haller impressed a bunch last time out scoring 2 goals against Watford and it finally looks like West Ham have actually bought a reliable striker after having to deal with the likes of Andy Carroll, Lucas Perez and Chicharito who only seems capable of delivering off the bench.
The fact that the Hammers have conceded 7 goals in 3 games is not the whole story as 5 of those goals came against an unstoppable City side, conceding 7 in 3 games is by no means okay in any way but considering the fact that it came against one of the worlds best sides it is somewhat acceptable.
All in all this new-look West Ham side appear to be able to fight for the Europa League spots but in order to do this they simply must win these types of games.
Norwich
The Canaries played a scintillating game last weekend at home to Chelsea and were a tad bit unlucky to lose with 2-3 after hitting the crossbar shortly after Chelsea's 3rd goal.
Daniel Farke's outfit has been lauded for playing a fun to watch, offensive football and rightly so. 14 goals have been scored in 3 games, 6 of which by Norwich. They had the guts to travel to Anfield on matchday 1 and really tried to outplay Liverpool instead of sitting back and soaking up the pressure and managed to snag a goal ruining a lot of Fantasy managers defensive points. They followed that defeat up with a very convincing 3-1 win at home to Newcastle and then lost the aforementioned, highly entertaining game against Chelsea with 3-2.
From what i have seen so far, Norwich look Premier League worthy and if their is any bottom-tipped team that will secure a Prem contract for next season, my money is on the Canaries.
P.S. if you do not already have Teemu Pukki in your fantasy team, GET HIM ASAP.
Betting tip
Their are a lot of promising bets for this fixture but i cannot see past a specific one and that is Over 3.5 goals at the great odds of 6/5 with Bethard.
