Rockbottom and the uneven's face off
Watford welcome Manchester United to Vicarage road on Sunday looking to win their second game of the season whilst United will be intent on keeping their streak without a defeat alive.
Watford
Rockbottom and currently on their third manager of the season, good times indeed. Current gaffer Nigel Pearson has his work cut out for him and it will be genuinely interesting to see how long the poor man lasts given the circumstances he finds himself in.
Dire times
The Hornets are 9 points behind safe ground and although we are not even halfway through the season, relegation is looming nonetheless.
Huge improvement despite lack of results
Despite all the doom and gloom Watford's recent performances are a far cry from how they performed at the start of the campaign and the fact they they managed to miss all those chances away at Liverpool last weekend is a feat of its own.
What better way to kickstart a campaign than against a United side that have performed too well for too long.
Manchester united
The Red Devil's actually find themselves in the middle of a six game unbeaten run in all competitions with four of those games ending in victory(!), my oh my.
Impressive scalps
In all honesty though, Solskjaer seems to have steadied the ship, and more, in recent times with fabulous victories against their Manc rivals and Mourinhos Tottenham being the absolute highlights.
Tough time against lower-table teams
Although United are unbeaten in six in the league they seem to have a hard time against lesser opponents, i.e. exactly what Watford are. Going unbeaten in six initially sounds invigorating and all that, until you find out that included in those games are drab draws against the lowly likes of Aston Villa and Everton as well as a very lucky 3-3 against Sheffield.
Watford will be desperate for a result here and desperation can be tough to play against sometimes so the reds better prepare themselves for a fight.
Betting tip
Watford have improved in recent (very recent) times whilst United have an unexplainably hard time against worse opposition which is why i will be backing Under 2.5 goals at 9/10 with Betway.
