Spain to stumble to third draw in a row
Spain have not had the ideal start to their UEFA Nations League 2022/2023 group, drawing against both Portugal at home and Czechia away in the past week. On Thursday evening, they face a Switzerland side that have lost their opening two, but are nevertheless a dangerous side. Read our preview here:
Cömert as you are
Having conceded a total of six in the first couple of games and now without Fabian Schär through suspension, Murat Yakin is poised to switch things up in defence, especially given the threats the visitors to the Stade de Genève possess. Eray Cömert was a January signing by Valencia from Basel, and though the 24 year old hasn't gained a firm foothold in his side just yet, he's likely to be thrust into the action on Thursday from the outset for his national side. Elsewhere, Breel Embolo will be restored to the lineup, having watched from the bench as his teammates were destroyed by Portugal.
Pau! Right in the kisser
Pau Torres is the subject of plenty of summer transfer window speculation, in particular linking him with a move away from Villarreal to Tottenham Hotspur. In the short-term, he must help La Roja shut up shop, having let in three thus far - he is a menace from corners in the opposition box, however. Experienced hands like Sergio Busquets and Álvaro Morata are set to be drafted in by Luis Enrique to give a stronger spine.
Betting tip
