Final group match to decide the top four
The final league phase match of this seasons Dream11 Indian Premier League comes between the Sunrisers Hyderabad who will be desperate to finally cement their place in the top four with a win and the Mumbai Indians who sitting pretty at the top of the table. The reigning champs already know that they will take part in the first qualifier on Thursday, so will have one eye on that going in to this one.
In their own hands
Following the Rajasthan Royals defeat to the Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday night, the Sunrisers finally had their own fate in their own hands, knowing that a win in this one and they will have snuck in to the top four. After a campaign where they have struggled for large parts and found themselves in the bottom half of the table, a play-off place will be a huge success for the team in orange.
Their crushing win against fellow top four rivals the Royal Challengers Bangalore shows how far they have come from the start of the IPL this year. Keeping a strong batting side to 120-7 meant that they were always going to be favourites. Jason Holder and Sandeep Sharma took two wickets each and were supported by the forever mysterious Rashid Khan. They have looked a more balanced and well-rounded side since bringing Jason Holder in to the starting XI, and he proved his worth again with a 26 from 10 ball cameo to finish off the game, with 35 balls to spare.
Time to rest a few?
With their space not only guaranteed for the next phase of the tournament, but they are also guaranteed to finish the group in top spot, there is talk of a few changes in the Mumbai camp going in to this one. And with just one day rest between this one on and the next, you could understand why.
In their last match, Mumbai continued to show why they are the team to beat with a crushing nine wicket demolition job against the Delhi Capitals. Three wickets each for Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah tore the heart out of the Capitals batting line up and left Mumbai chasing just 111 to take the two points.
Ishan Kishan impressed again with 72* to ensure that Mumbai got home in the fifteenth over and with nine wickets in hand. They are still unsure whether their captain Rohit Sharma will be back at any point in this year’s IPL, but if he is still absent, they will be confident in having Kishan at the top.
Match Tip
It’ll be a tight match with the Sunrisers playing for their lives against a Mumbai side that could potentially take their foot off the pedal. This is why I am going for a different type of tip for this one.
I am backing the first innings score between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians to be an odd number at 1.90 with Betway.

149 the Mumbai Indians scored in the first innings. It was a win for the tipsters, but not the Indians who lost by 10 wickets.
