Los Blancos set for high scoring affair vs Betis
Betis uninspiring at best
Real Madrid have had an exciting start to life under Carlo Ancelotti. A 3-3 draw at Levante last time out will certainly be of concern for Ancelotti, but he’ll be encouraged by Real Betis’s unconvincing start to this La Liga season. Manuel Pellegrini’s side have drawn their opening two games, both 1-1 against Mallorca and then Cadiz. Neither performance the most convincing from a side that was pushing for European football last campaign.
The Mbappe shaped elephant in the room…
Los Blancos currently sit third in La Liga, claiming four points from their first two fixtures. The major story surrounding Real Madrid at the minute is the impending signing of Kylian Mbappe, with reports coming out daily linking the Frenchman closer to the Spanish capital. It would be a huge statement to the rest of Europe, let alone to their La Liga rivals, that Real Madrid are looking to dominate Spanish football and are willing spend by whatever means necessary to do so. Los Blancos will be aiming to avoid such a slow start to this La Liga, something that cost them so dearly in last season’s title race. Betis on the other hand will hope that their attacking threats such as Borja Iglesias, and Loren to getting amongst the goals like they did last season. With Real Madrid conceding in both of their first two games and Betis scoring in both of theirs, it should be a high scoring affair in Seville.
Attacking firepower to see Madrid home
Real Madrid will be looking to Vinicius Junior to keep up his hot start to the season. Alongside Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale, the Real Madrid attack should be an issue for any team in the league. But add arguably Europe’s most exciting young striker into the mix for this season and Real Madrid regain that superstar edge to their squad. Either way, this game should see goals flying in and I’d back Real Madrid to capitalise on Betis’s uninspiring start and to kick on towards the title.
There should be a fair few goals here and Real Madrid should take all three points to bounce back from their draw with Levante last week. That’s why I’m going with over 2.5 goals and Real Madrid to win with bet365.

Sadly, Real Madrid did win 0-1 but neither side could put away their chances and this one loses
