Cautious CL curtain raiser

Julien Naglesmann’s impressive young RB Leipzig outfit host, yes host, Liverpool at the Puskas Arena in Budapest tomorrow evening. I can see this match panning out quite timidly to begin with, a lot of first leg ties do, as Liverpool seek a foothold in the game well aware of their defensive woes in recent weeks. Leipzig top the Bundesliga in terms of expected goals and in that may come in as value outsiders for this fixture, however seeking value the Asian Handicap market was tough, the bookies really are on the money in these high profile matches. Leipzig with a +0.5 and +0.75 start are all too short so I have plumped for a shorter goals based angle which I think looks a good cautious play.

For me it is about when the first goal comes as for whether this first leg really ignites or not, I trust the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane to show up as big game players.
