Arsenal gunning for 15 points at PSV
PSV Eindhoven will only be guaranteed to head into the final group game of the UEFA Europa League in second place by getting at least a draw on Thursday evening against runaway leaders Arsenal at the Philips Stadion. Read our preview here:
Ruud boys
Legendary Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy got the senior gig at Rood-witten in March of this year after nearly a decade of coaching at U19 and Jong level for club and assisting Oranje across two different spells. He steered his charges to second in last season's Eredivisie, just two points behind champions Ajax. They remain in the same position at the time of writing, but fell into the Europa League after being edged out of the Champions League by Glasgow Rangers. Cody Gakpo is a very highly sought after star, having plundered 18 goals for club and country, whilst fellow attacking midfielder Xavi Simons is also in double figures for the campaign. The 19 year old has been included in the World Cup preliminary squad.
Steady Eddie
Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta is bound to ring the changes with qualification already assured. Oleksandr Zinchenko is nearing a return, though Thursday is likely to come too soon for him to feature. Eddie Nketiah has been used exclusively from the bench in the Premier League, but it's an entirely different story on Thursday nights. He'll be looking to add to his tally of two to keep being selected once the knockout stages arrive.
Betting tip
