Liverpool to coast into quarter finals
Liverpool hold all the cards after their 2-0 win at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium three weeks ago, and now Inter Milan have the unenviable task of needing to come to Anfield on Tuesday attacking from the outset to have any hope of at least restoring parity on aggregate within the 90 minutes of their Champions League last 16 second leg. Read our preview here:
Trent's deep
Playmaking right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold surpassed his previous record for goal creation at the weekend when he set up Sadio Mané for the only strike in a vital 1-0 win over West Ham United to keep close behind leaders Manchester City. Ivan Perišić represents one of the trickier opponents he'll face this season, but he's always helped in this regard by the work rate of Jordan Henderson in the half-spaces.
Laut, Laut! Let it all out
Simone Inzaghi's charges at least prepared for their daunting mission by sweeping aside Salernitana 5-0. Strike partners Edin Džeko and Lautaro Martínez bagged a brace and hat-trick respectively in that rout, and they'll need to have the same kind of supply to produce the goods against the odds in front of the Kop. Nicolò Barella's return after missing the first leg will be a huge boost.
Betting tip
The portents are not brilliant for Inter. Liverpool have won their last dozen games in a row in all competitions as they come towards the business end of the campaign, looking to add more trophies to their EFL Cup prize. Parimatch have odds of 2.17 that only one team at most will get on the scoresheet.
