Leicester to keep up flying start?
Burnley travel to Leicester on Sunday evening ready to kick off their campaign whilst Leicester emerged victorious the previous weekend against West Brom.
Leicester
The foxes kicked the season off with a resounding 3-0 win away at West Brom with new boy Timothy Castagne finding the back of the net alongside the prolific Jamie Vardy scoring 2.
Back to their best?
The win was reminiscent of the way Leicester played at the beginning of last season, with pace and flare, ripping their opponents apart with ridiculous ease. The issue last season was that they could not keep that up in the long run, it remains to be seen whether or not that can rectify that this time around but the start is promising.
Brendan Roger's team is well-composed and balanced with a good depth, last seasons dip is somewhat of a conundrum but could simply be down to attrition. If that was the case, i expect Leicester to be better prepared but that is an issue to be faced farther down the road.
Expect Leicester to come out roaring.
Burnley
The Clarets kick off the campaign with one of the hardest possible matchups in the form of an away trip at Leicester, a real test of Burnley's steel and a good indicator of what is to be expected from this Burnley side.
Sean Dyche's men finished at a respectable 10th place last season yet again performing better than most would've believed prior to the seasons start but that's been the case with Burnley the last few years so nothing new there.
A worrying aspect is however that Burnley are missing a few key men at the moment which is never a good thing when facing the Prem's better teams that exploit even the smallest of cracks. I don't doubt Burnley will manage to address these issues but that does not look like it is happening prior to Sunday which spells trouble.
Betting tip
Leicester look to be back at their best which is why i will be backing a Leicester Win at the great odds of 1.65 with Betway.
