Juventus will run the show
Napoli to travel to Turin to meet Juventus on Saturday evening. The Napolitani will still be smarting after having gifted their biggest rivals what could have been their first title since 1990 at the last gasp last season.
Last season’s fixtures were tight affairs with both teams getting the better of the other away from home. A single goal from former Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain was all it took to separate the two at the San Paolo in December, and a late brace from Kalidou Koulibaly sent Napoli south with a 0-1 win in the bag.
They thought it was done. But it wasn’t.
Napoli
Napoli have lost influential and enigmatic manager Maurizio Sarri to Chelsea, but have found a more than worthy replacement in Carlo Ancelotti.
They've gone on to win five of their six opening games and are hot on the heels of their northern rivals Juventus. A win would see them draw up close at the top of the table.
They should be given a boost with Raul Albiol and Jose Callejon back in contention, but Dries Mertens will mostly likely have to sit it out on the bench, although he’s a good pick to change things up if needed.
Juventus
As expected, Juventus have made a roaring start to their Serie A season and have collected maximum points. But Napoli represent their first real challenge in their seventh match of the season.
Cristiano Ronaldo will be hoping to seal the deal for his new club as they bid to show last year’s closest rivals who’s boss once more.
Juve are only missing Douglas Costa who is still serving part of his four game match ban for ungentlemanly conduct. Otherwise the forward line of Ronaldo, Dybala and Mandzukic should provide firepower aplenty for the Bianconeri.
Match Tips
There’s no love lost between these two, especially after last season’s dramatics, and I know that Napoli got the better of Juve away from home last season. Still, Juve have looked dangerous going forward and tight at the back. Despite a wobbly opener, they’ve kept three clean sheets out of six.

As predicted, Juventus were too much for Napoli. At this rate they'll run away with the league.
