The way it’s been going I think it will take some time before Argentina manage to break the deadlock in this match against Nigeria - but they will do it. Argentina are in desperate need of goals to counteract their deficient goal difference in group and I see an outright assault coming down on Nigeria in the second half.

Eventually though Argentina will manage to get a couple in even if it takes a while, probably well into the second half, especially as Nigeria begin to get more desperate and push men forward.

To back Argentina’s side given what we’ve already seen might appear mad to some, but with the amount of talent they’ve got going forward they will eventually come unstuck.
