Rangers have great chance to reach EL semi-finals
Braga hold a narrow 1-0 advantage ahead of their UEFA Europa League quarter final second leg trip to Ibrox to face Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers. The hosts are without Alfredo Morelos for the rest of the campaign, but will still be hopeful of progressing through to the semis. Read our preview here:
Gio-dude
Gio van Bronckhorst will be backing Kemar Roofe to provide some cutting edge without Morelos up top. The former Leeds United forward has been mainly utilised from the bench this term, but did score a hat-trick at the weekend during the Bears' 4-0 rout of St. Mirren. Additionally, Joe Ayodele-Aribo must be careful not to pick up a booking as the hosts fight to overturn the deficit. The versatile midfielder is one yellow card away from suspension in continental competition.
Horta-cultural
Carlos Carvalhal's charges are destined to finish fourth in the Primeira Liga, so are assured of some form of participation in Europe during 2022/2023 regardless of Thursday's outcome. Nuno Sequeira and Roger Fernandes are the only two players ruled out, so the XI could have a familiar complexion to it. Ricardo Horta has been an immense force from attacking midfield, blasting in 19 goals (including four in the Europa League). Remarkably, his younger brother André Horta is also at Os Arcebispos as a double pivot, and his role will be equally as crucial in stifling the hosts' inevitable and frequent forays forward.
Betting tip
Without away goals to consider these days, the tie is very finely poised. Rangers rarely draw a blank, especially on home soil, so odds of 4.20 with Betway for a famous win with both teams scoring looks like a good investment.
