Champions Malmö to continue recovery
The sole Friday night game in the Allsvenskan will see struggling GIF Sundsvall host current title holders Malmö at the NP3 Arena. The home side came up through the Superettan last year, but have found life in the top tier of Swedish men's football very tough, winning twice and losing every other game of their campaign thus far. Heading for the Saku
Last time out, Henrik Åhnstrand's troops were smashed 5-2 in their own backyard by Djurgårdens, and morale is low in the camp. However, one distinct bright spot has been the form of new signing Saku Ylätupa. The 22 year old has designs on a recall by the Finland national team, and the attack-minded midfielder is doing himself no harm with this output to date, scoring five times in all competitions despite his team's trials and tribulations.
Dennis the menace
Having led Himmelsblått to glory last year, Jon Dahl Tomasson left the club on a high, and has recently been appointed head coach of Blackburn Rovers. That void was filled by Miloš Milojević, who had been sacked by rivals Hammarby after trying to facilitate a move elsewhere in Scandinavia. 2022 has not gone all their way thus far, but they are at the time of writing four places and three points off the summit. Bosnian centre-back Dennis Hadžikadunić switched allegiances when he made his senior breakthrough, and the Rostov loanee hasn't looked out of place at the heart of the defence since.
Betting tip
Casumo have odds of 7.50 for a narrow 1-0 victory for Malmö, who have not been prolific this season.
