Germany and Spain to trade blows in equal measure
Germany and Spain are the latest teams to face off at the Brentford Community Stadium on Tuesday night. Both sides handsomely won their openers and will want to seal passage through to the knockout stages of Euro 2022 with a game to spare. Read our preview here:
Have a right old Popp
Die Nationalelf demonstrated a gulf in class on the day during their 4-0 win over Denmark, and goal difference could be the determining tie-breaker as to who will top Group B. There are no new injury concerns for head coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg, so expect to see a very similar lineup. Skipper Alexandra Popp grabbed the fourth and her 54th for the national side, and will be pushing to be included from the outset.
Reds on Paredes
If La Roja were internally reeling from the loss of superstar Alexis Putellas on the eve of the tournament, they didn't show it in their clash with Finland, sweeping aside their opponents by a 4-1 scoreline. Jorge Vilda will be all too aware Germany represent a tougher encounter, but won't tinker all that much with a winning formula. Centre back Irene Paredes is a natural leader in defence, and a lot will depend on her organisational skills to counter the triple threat of her adversaries' attacking line.
Betting tip
Casumo have odds of 15.00 for a 2-2 draw that will keep the status quo within the pool.
