Tight game at Craven Cottage?
Tottenham travel to Craven Cottage to face off against Fulham in a London derby during the Prems gameweek 33. Both teams still have a lot to play for making this an interesting clash indeed.
Fulham
Scott Parker's gents have been on a good run of form consisting of 3 draws and 2 wins in their last 5 leaving them within 3 points of safety with 12 games games left to go. The Cottagers will be happy that they have managed to avoid defeat during an extended stretch of games but will be disappointed in the fact that they were better in all games, honestly deserving to win all 5.
Blunt attack
A majority of Fulham's defeats have been by a single goal, that added with the large number of draws is not a consequence of bad defending but rather, having a blunt attack. This fact is even more apparent against the top teams with Fulham registering only 3 goals in 6 games against the traditional top 6, a statistic that does not bode well for Thursday's clash.
Fulham look very capable of renewing their Prem contract for next year but their goal-scoring, or lack thereof, is still a big issue that needs fixing.
Tottenham
Mourinho's men might be coming off the back of a comprehensive 4-0 victory Burnley but their recent form has been quite shocking after only registering 2 victories in their last 7 whilst losing 5 of them.
Change in fortunes
The Lilywhites will be hoping that their victory against Burnley will act as a sort of catalyst, a turning point of sorts and despite Burnley being pretty lousy this year, the win showed quite a lot of promise.
The biggest positive is that Gareth Bale has finally showed what he is capable of after banging home 2 goals and an assist in a man of the match performance. If Tottenham manage to perform as well as they did against Burnley in their coming fixtures, a top 4 finish is more than doable given some of their competitors recent woes.
Betting tip
I believe this will be a tightly contested game but i also believe Tottenham should edge it at the end which is why i will be backing a Tottenham win at the fantastic odds of 2.00 with Betway.
