Belgium and Iceland to share the spoils
The Academy Stadium in Manchester is the scene of Belgium and Iceland both kicking off their Euro 2022 tournament on Sunday afternoon, where there's very little to separate them on paper. Read our preview here:
Eternal Red Flames
As the lowest ranked side in the group, Ives Serneels knows his side have their work cut out to qualify from a group also containing both Italy and France. Set pieces are going to be key to any success they derive from the three matches, with striker Tine De Caigny, who scored the most from any nation in qualification with 12, looking to profit from them. Kassandra Missipo is also key in midfield in an XI that is likely to lack physicality.
Björk's alternative
Þorsteinn Halldórsson is riding a wave of optimism that he can guide Stelpurnar okkar to the quarter finals. Keeping clean sheets will be the order of the day, and that solid platform should help Sara Björk Gunnarsdóttir weave her magic in between the lines of midfield and attack. Berglind Björg Þorvaldsdóttir doesn't have the most impressive goals to caps ratio, but does possess plenty of experience.
Betting tip
Casumo have odds of 6.25 for a 1-1 draw that will damage both teams' hopes of squeaking through in second behind favourites France.
