Goals galore at the Emirates
The last match in this round of Premier League fixtures is Monday night's game between Arsenal and Leicester. I think this match will provide a lot of goals as well as great opportunity for Arsenal to extend their winning streak.
Arsenal
Arsenal have finally picked up some real momentum. They have also worked out how to play Lacazatte and Aubameyang on the same team. There is still room for improvement, especially in the backline and we are yet to see the full positive affects of a fully club-focused-Özil, but it feels like a shame to complain when the points are coming in thick and fast. Arsenal are not only winning in the Premier League but also the Europa League; wins that are the result of well orchestrated free flowing attacking play. It feels deserving that Arsenal are the bookies clear favourite for this match against Leicester. An in-from Arsenal will give Leicester a real run-around this Monday but I remain unconvinced by their defensive line, and a plucky Leicester stand a chance of hitting Arsenal on the break.
Leicester
Leicester have been unpredictable this season. They have shown, at times, that there is still quality in this squad even though they lost Mahrez in the summer. Yet, sometimes they've completely fallen apart in matches suddenly looking a shadow of the team that won the Premier League a few seasons back. They lost their last game to Everton on home soil. It's easy to point to Morgan's red card, but up until the 63rd minute they had been lacklustre and did not deserve to get anything from the game. Before this game, I remember their 4-2 collapse away at Bournemouth as further evidence of their capacity to fall apart. I rarely go against Leicester at home, but when they are on the road it's a different story. I have a huge respect for Vardy and Maddison and I do believe that they have a real chance of grabbing a couple of goals at Arsenal, but in the long run, I don't see them beating an in-form Arsenal at the Emirates.
Betting tip
I think both teams have a great chance of scoring goals here. Arsenal have not won games so far by being solid defensively, they've won games with their ruthless attacking ability. I believe Arsenal will conced, but over 90+ minutes they'll score enough goals to overcome Leicester. I am betting on Arsenal to win with +2.5 goals in the match at odds of 1/1 with Bethard.
