Arsenal to continue blistering start to 2022/2023
After a lengthy period without a Europa League match, Arsenal resume their quest to ease through their group when Norwegian outfit Bodø/Glimt are the latest to come to the fortress that is the Emirates this season on Thursday evening. Read our preview here:
Making his Marq
Mikel Arteta is expected to make sweeping changes to the starting lineup after masterminding a victory over rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. Cédric Soares is earmarked to come in at right-back, Matt Turner could be drafted in between the sticks, and Marquinhos will get another crack in European competition. The Brazilian wide forward scored in the previous tie away to FC Zurich, and should get plenty of opportunities to further show what he's capable of.
Glimt and you'll miss it
Meanwhile, whilst Kjetil Knutsen won't be expecting a result, his side have taken four points from their opening two games, including a highly creditable draw on the road against PSV Eindhoven. The reigning Eliteserien champions have plenty of talented individuals, especially in the dynamic midfield three. Hugo Vetlesen has blasted in nine goals from deep in the league and has added to that tally in the more demanding environment of the Europa League.
