Belgium will push a tired England to the side
Two teams who are obviously disappointed with having lost their respectively semi-finals meet each other one more time in this year’s tournament. Regardless of who wins or loses, both teams have done well this time round and can be proud of their achievements.
Belgium manager Roberto Martinez has lost only one match up to this point in the tournament and that was against an exceptional France side in the semi-final.

Gareth Southgate’s new England side have surprised many and look, above all else, especially strong at set pieces, where they’ve scored the lion’s share of their goals. England have played with essentially the same team throughout the tournament, the only exception being when they met Belgium in the group stages and dropped nearly all of their first team starters.

I have to admit I think I’ve found a good punt for this one. I think without a doubt Belgium are the better team and on top of that will be fresher. Those factors will push England into conceding more yellow cards than their opponents. The fact that England build more of their attacking play on the wings will lead to more crosses into the box and in turn will mean England continue their run of winning more corners than all their opponents so far.
