All or northing Scandinavian derby
Scandinavian neighbours Sweden and Norway fight for second place in a rather tight group F taking place in Stockholm, Sweden. The Swede's currently occupy second, 2 points ahead of third placed Norway meaning that this game has a lot on the line regarding the outcome of the group.
Sweden
Janne Andersson's men recently saw off minnows Faroe Islands away from home with an impressive 4-0 thrashing. Real Sociedad's youngster Alexander Isak impressed yet again scoring twice within the first 15 minutes allowing the Swede's to comfortably play out the rest of the game.
18th ranked Sweden have really upped their game in recent times which was very evident during their World Cup campaign where they qualified from a group containing Germany, Mexico and South Korea and followed that up with winning their UEFA Nations League group consisting of Russia and Turkey.
Sweden have everything in their own hands and know that if they win on Sunday they will be very close to qualifying for yet another major tournament, they are very hard to beat on their home ground and i fully expect this trend to continue.
Norway
The Norwegians travel to Stockholm off the back of a stable but unspectacular 2-0 win at home to Malta, Bournemouth star Joshua King scored from the 12-yard spot before the stroke of half-time and the Norwegians played out the rest of the game with ease.
Lars Lagerbäck's men find themselves 2 points behind their Scandinavian rivals but would be level had they not conceded a 92 goal at home to Romania which ended 2-2 back in June. This has put them at a disadvantage and if they lose to Sweden on Sunday their odds of featuring in a major tournament for the first time since 2000 will be significantly slashed.
Its basically do or die but the Norwegians have a pretty decent chance of travelling home with at least a point, they have real quality in their ranks with the likes of Odegaard as well as King and can cause problems for a rather slow Swedish backline.
Betting tip
Two bets really stand out but seeing how the reverse fixture ended 3-3 i will opt for Over 2.5 goals at the fantastic odds of 6/5 with Bethard.
The other bet i was alluding to is a Swedish win at 1/1.
