Giallarosi’s Champions League push
Sassuolo and Roma go head to head at the Mapei stadium on game day 37 of Italy's Serie A. Roma come into this game needing a win in order to stay in the race for a top 4 finish whilst Sassuolo have nothing left to play for. Can the Giallarossi keep their wits about them and stay in the race for a Champions League finish?
Sassuolo
The Neroverdi do not have the best of records coming into this clash having won 2, lost 3 and drawn 5 out of their last 10 games. Sassuolo have a boring habit of drawing most of their games 15/36 but are consistent in that they usually lose to the teams above them, draw to the ones around them and win against the teams far below them which reflects their 10th place very well. An interesting fact is that the men in green and black have lost to Roma at home 5 times in a row which proves the point that they are bad against the top teams even further. I expect Sassuolo to struggle on Saturday partially because of their horrendous stats against the top sides but also due to the fact that they have absolutely nothing to play for with only 2 games left of the season.
Notable absentees.

Roma
After a difficult start to life at Roma Ranieri has really managed to turn them around and have not lost a game in their last 7 outings with 4 of those ending in victories, most notable out of those wins is the most recent one which saw Roma beat a very strong Juventus side with 2-0. The ultimate goal is of course to qualify for the Champions League which the team from Rome have done in every one of their last 5 seasons but that record is currently in major jeopardy due to them being sat at 6th place with 3 points behind 4th placed Atalanta with only 2 games left to play. However, all is not lost as their last 2 games are very winnable while Atalanta still have to travel to Juventus meaning that Ranieri's men still have a decent shot at finishing top 4.
