High stakes battle
Milan welcome Napoli to the San Siro during the Serie A's gameweek 27. Milan are still in the running for the Scudetto whereas Napoli will be desperate in catching up to 4th placed Atalanta meaning important points are up for grabs.
Milan
Despite missing their Balkan trio of Ibrahimovic, Mandzukic, and Rebic to injury, Milan have been surprisingly effective in front of goal having scored 11 goals in their last 7 games whilst conceding 8 in the process as well.
Stefano Pioli's men lost consecutive games against Spezia and Inter steering them off-course for a while but quickly got back on track after wins against Roma and Hellas Verona as well as a draw at Udinese.
Leaky against top opposition
It is obvious Milan are quite capable going forward seeing as how they have scored in 23 of their 26 games but it should also be noted that they have conceded in 17 of them as well, including all of their games against the current top 7 teams.
Napoli
I Partenopei started the season very well racking up 8 wins in their first 10 but have since then been rather uneven, winning only 7 of their following 15 games, drawing 2, and losing 6.
15 wins of 25 possible is not horrible but is not great either, especially for a team of Napoli's pedigree and ambitions which has put coach Gattuso at risk of losing his job. However, despite Gattuso being a former defensive midfielder, his team is not only defensively sound but surprisingly offensive having scored 55 goals in 25 games.
Also leaky
But, much like Milan, Napoli have a hard time keeping clean sheets against the top teams conceding in 6 of their 8 games against the top 7.
Betting tip
Due to both sides being good going forward but finding trouble when defending against top opposition which is why i will be backing Both teams to score at 1.60 with Betway.
