The Giallorossi visit the Giuseppe Meazza
With only 6 matchdays remaining we are closing in on crunch time in the Serie A and with 6 teams fighting for the 2 Champions League spots behind Juve and Napoli we are in for an exciting few weeks. The Giallorossi travel to the Giuseppe Meazza to face off against an Inter side 6 points ahead of them, will Inter pull away or will Roma catch up?
Inter
The Nerazzurri are currently in 3rd place, 7 points behind Napoli in 2nd but 5 points in front of Milan in 4th. In other words, the Milanese team has everything to lose. Inter's defence has been hugely impressive this season conceding only 7 goals in total at the San Siro and is the main factor as to why they find themselves so high up in the table. A huge boost is that troublemaker and former captain Mauro Icardi is back playing for the blue and blacks and his presence has been sorely missed, since returning from exile 3 games ago he has scored a goal and provided 2 assists with the team winning 2 and drawing the other. All in all things are looking very positive for Inter and their fans should feel confident going into Serie A's home stretch.
Notable absentees
Brozovic and Vrsaljko.
Roma
The team from the capital have had a rollercoaster of a season with it culminating in Di Francesco's sacking. In came Claudio Ranieri and things have honestly not gotten that much better, since his appointment Roma have won 3, drawn 1 and lost 2 which is disappointing given that Roma have their sights set on playing in the CL next year. Roma have however become somewhat hard to overcome on their travels losing only 2 of their last 7 games, winning 4 and drawing the remaining game during that time period. This is one of the seasons sternest challenges and it will be interesting to see whether Ranieri focuses on defending and trying to hit them on the counter as Ranieri teams usually do or if they will go in with guns blazing trying to get the 3 points they so desperately need in order to qualify for next seasons Champions League.
Notable absentees
N'zonzi, De Rossi (maybe), Kardsdorp and Santon.
Betting tip
After a long and hard think i've decided to back Under 2.5 goals at 21/20 with Bethard. In my opinion ridiculous odds for a game like this.
An alternative bet that could definitely be worth while is Inter to win and keep a clean sheet.
