Superior in every aspect
Hammarby have title-winning aspirations but have had quite a torrid time as of late. Can they turn it around when bottom of the table Falkenberg travel to Stockholm with the hopes of breaking their own negative trend?
Hammarby
Bajen come off the back of a very tough loss away to Häcken which can mostly be attributed to extremely shoddy refereeing. Despite being reduced to 10 men before the first half was over Hammarby came very close multiple times and should of left with at least a point.
Despite not having won a game in their last 4 outings Hammarby will be optimistic for what is to come. All 4 of those games came against fellow title-chasers and 3 of those games were away from home, 2 of which ended in draws which is absolutely not a catastrophe.
Another hugely positive fact is that the men in green and white are yet to lose at home with 4 wins and 2 draws so far.
The coming 8 games are all against teams well below Hammarby in the table and presents the perfect opportunity to catch up to the teams above, this particular fixture could honestly not have come at a better time seeing as how Bajen desperately need to build their confidence back up and Falkenberg is the perfect team to do it against.
Falkenberg
Newcomers Falkenberg are headed straight through the door they recently came through after having amassed a measly 10 points after 13 games.
The team from the West coast has won 2, drawn 4 and lost 7 of their games so far with one win coming from their first game of the season and the second coming from their most recent which was really just down to their opposition being really s**t on the day of.
Falkenberg have lost all games against teams from the top half of the table and now travel to 7th placed Hammarby in Stockholm which is hands down one of the hardest away fixtures in Sweden.
I can round it all off by saying that they have yet to win away from home and i can basically guarantee that they will not be changing that come this Sunday.
Betting tip
Hammarby absolutely thrive at home averaging over 2 goals per game at the Tele2 Arena and are yet to lose there which is why i will be backing a Hammarby win & over 2.5 goals at 9/10 with Bethard.
