A stainless performance for Die Mannschaft
It’s remarkable that South Korea still have a chance of making it through to the knockout stages, at least theoretically. Of course this is never going to happen because there’s no way they’ll get anything from Germany.
South Korea
The Koreans have a shot of making it through despite two losses out of two, but there isn’t much chatter on the airwaves that they’ll actually manage it. Their main man Son was responsible for a real beauty of a goal against Mexico in stoppage time and was behind more chances than they made against Sweden.
Germany definitely won’t be having any sleepless nights over this one
All things considered their team’s overall capabilities are still underappreciated but they’ve been poor both against Sweden and Mexico, and it seems unlikely they can pull something out of the bag against Germany. Germany definitely won’t be having any sleepless nights over this one, and they’ll have had a welcome boost of confidence with that last minute goal against Sweden last week.
All in all, Germany will manage themselves well against South Korea, even with they key centre back Jerome Boateng injured.
Germany
Germany will win this game, but question is will they be able to keep a clean sheet? I think their chances are pretty good if we look at their record. Boateng is missing but they have a good back up, and after all Boateng can be a little too attacking minded at times to the detriment of his defensive capabilities.
Germany will fair well and won’t let the Koreans have more than two or three chances
Germany will fair well and won’t let the Koreans have more than two or three chances in front of goal. It’s not altogether unlikely that the Germans themselves will score three or four but if there is any doubt to cast over Die Mannschaft it’s their attack, not their defence.
Match Tips
Germany will win and keep a clean sheet against South Korea. By my reckoning the odds for this bet shouldn’t been a little lower but with LeoVegas I managed to find odds 10/11 which makes for a good bet. There doesn’t seem much to worry about. Shall we say 2-0?
