Freescoring Juve head to Frosinone
Frosinone
Recently promoted Frosinone are enduring a tough time to life in Serie A. They’ve only managed to rack up one point when they ground out a goalless draw at home to Bologna. For the most part it’s been miserable, having conceded ten in their other three matches and having failed to score a single goal yet this season.
Only Chievo sit below them at the bottom of the table after having been deducted points by the Italian footballing federation.
The Canarini have made serious attempts to bolster their squad bringing in a number of loan players from a variety of Serie A sides, but up until now it’s just not worked out.
Form guide: Frosinone’s last 4 in Serie A
- L: Sampdoria (h) 0-5
- L: Lazio (a) 1-0
- D: Bologna (h) 0-0
- L: Atalanta (a) 4-0
Juventus
Juve on the other hand have once again made a flying start to the Serie A season, registering four back to back wins ,and most recently travelling to Valencia in midweek to win 0-2.
Form guide: Juve’s last 5
- W: Valencia (a) 0-2
- W: Sassuolo (h) 2-1
- W: Parma (a) 1-2
- W: Lazio (h) 2-0
- W: Chievo (a) 2-3
Juve have won all of their games but on the road in Serie A but against Parma and Chievo they’ve conceded. Still, with Frosinone having failed to score and with the firepower Juve have at hand it looks like the Bianconeri look set for a fairly easy time of it on Sunday night.
Cristiano Ronaldo opened his Juve goal scoring account last weekend with two goals but it easily could’ve been four. A lot of Juve’s play is being directed towards him and if he’s on form he should be in for an enjoyable night. There’s a sense of frustration in him at the moment because of easy misses and an unjust sending off midweek. He’s the type of character to utilise that to propel him forward.
Match Tips
Frosinone have been unlucky not to score in both of their 0-4 and 5-0 routs against Atalanta and Sampdoria respectively. The problem lies with their defence which buckles so easily under pressure. They struggle to man mark, and allow too much space for shots to be popped at their goal. If Juve are up for it they could win this one with at least a couple of goals to spare.

The Old Lady had around 20 shots on goal but it took them until the last minute to make it 2-0. Finally, injury time has done me well for once!
