Isloch could surprise champions Dinamo Brest

Champions Dinamo Brest have not hit their stride yet this season as we head into matchday four. Can Isloch take advantage as they head to Brest on Sunday? Have a read of our preview here:

Dinamo Brest not playing like champions

It is probably too early to start drawing conclusions on a season so young, but Dinamo Brest will be slightly frustrated at their opening three rounds of the campaign.

An opening day draw at home to Smolevichy was followed up by a 1-0 win away at Slutsk. Neither performance were particularly convincing and that fear was brought home a little harder last weekend when the champions were defeated at home by Slavia Mozyr.

The 2-1 loss was hugely disappointing for a team who finished last season with 75 points, five clear of runners-up BATE Borisov.

Their key players during that historic season were Dzyanis Laptsew and Pavel Nyakhaychyk who both netted 12 times in the league. They have seen the latter leave over the summer, joining rivals BATE after an impressive campaign.

It is never easy to replace key players, but Brest will have to try and find ways of scoring with one of last season’s joint top scorers now no longer with the club.

It’s been a mixed start, but no one will be passing judgement just yet.

Isloch could be one to watch

Based in Minsk, Isloch were formed in 2007 as a side set up to represent the Minsk Raion district.

They finished fifth last season in the Premier League and obviously have a number of talented players. Momo Yansane was their top scorer, hitting the net 11 times for Isloch while Alyaksandr Makas bagged 10 during an impressive

They kept back-to-back clean-sheets in a pair of 1-0 victories to start this campaign and based on what we saw of them last year, it is unlikely they will be an easy opponent for anyone this season.

However, a poor defensive display at home to Slutsk last weekend saw them fall to defeat despite a brace from Makas. They will be hoping it is just a blip as they prepare to take on the champions.

Dinamo Brest vs Isloch betting tip

Dinamo Brest are the favourites at 4/6 but the real values lies in backing Isloch to win at odds of 7/2, which is where we will be placing our cash for this one.
