End of the road
France are guaranteed a spot in next years Euro's whilst Albania miss out this time around prior to the final round of games in group H. Their might not be anything to play for other than pride but there is still value to be found from a betting perspective.
France
The French snagged top spot from the Turks in a very laboured 2-1 against Moldova at the Stade de France courtesy of a Giroud penalty in the 79th minute. Far from impressive.
They did, despite the poor performance, what they had to do and in all fairness, Moldova defended with 10 men in their own box for 99% of the game making it very hard to score.
France might be through to the next round but they still have to win in order to keep Turkey from retaking the throne and looking at the team they are travelling with, this should not be a problem.
Albania
Edy Reja's men were always in for a tough time in a group containing not only France but Iceland and Turkey too so seeing how they are seven points behind second place should surprise no one.
Despite being a ways off the top spots Albania are no punching bag which can be seen in the fact that they have scored eight goals in their last three games.
Albania's last four of five games have all ended in over 2.5 goals and given the quality of their opposition i expect this to be five out of six.
Betting tip
Nearly everything is pointing to over 2.5 goals which is why i will be backing just that, Over 2.5 goals at 4/5 with Bethard.
