Unbeaten Napoli to carry their fine form to Milan
Inter trying to cling on
Simone Inzhagi's side sit seven points behind Sunday's visitors who are atop the Serie A after 12 games played. Their only league loss of the season came when visiting the capital, in a 3-1 defeat to Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico. Just before the international break, they drew 1-1 in the Milan derby, mainly thanks to a Hakan Calhanoglu penalty that put the Nerazzurri one nil up early on. But a Stefan De Vrij own goal just five minutes later saw the game stagnate, and both teams tightened up and it became a cagey affair, with the spoils shared in Milan. This leaves Inter seven points off both the leaders and off of AC Milan. Certainly sitting on the periphery of the early title race, Inzaghi will be hoping to turn.
Spalletti surging to the title
Spalletti's side still remain unbeaten with the season now a third of the way through. Their last outing in the league ended with a 1-1 draw against Hellas Verona, seeming a rarity for Napoli this campaign not to get the 3 points. Di Lorenzo levelled the tie in the 18th minute, but was not enough to come away victorious for Gli Azzurri against a 10th place Hellas Verona. Victor Osimhen will be hoping to return to scoring ways after a current 3 game goal drought in the league. However a successful international break will give the world of confidence for the Nigerian striker. Two goals in two games against Liberia and Cape Verde and Victor Osimhen will definitely be hoping he can carry on this form against the 3rd place Inter Milan.
The Nerazzurri need to try and gain ground on the top two sides, but this game won't be the game for them to do this. Despite the home side being firm favourites, I'm backing unbeaten Napoli to get either a draw or a win with bet365.
