West Ham to hammer Genk
West Ham off to a European flyer
David Moyes takes his side across the channel to play Belgian side Genk, attempting to maintain their perfect start to Europa League life. They come into this game leading the group, and with a 3-0 win in the reverse fixture against Genk, the Hammers should be very confident of returning to East London with all three points. Goals from Craig Dawson, Issa Diop and Jarrod Bowen secured the win at the London stadium when they last took on Genk. West Ham are on a hot streak of form, with recent wins against Spurs, Man United and a convincing 4-1 win against a struggling Aston Villa. If Moyesy's side are to get a win, they'll secure qualification to the knockout stages with two games to spare, something that could be crucial with the fixture congestion going into the Christmas period.
The hosts are stuck in a rut
Genk are currently bottom of Group H. They secured a 1-0 win against Rapid Wien on the opening gameweek of the Europa League, bit consecutive 3-0 losses Dinamo Zagreb and West Ham have seen the Belgian side hit rock bottom of their table. But, bizarrely, a win against the Hammers could see them rise to second in the table. And while their league form has been impressive, with 12 goals in their last two games, showcasing their attacking potential and their ability to cause problems for any team. However, they will need all of this attacking flair if they're able to get a result against West Ham on Thursday night.
The form that West Ham are in should see them overcome a comparatively poor Genk side on Thursday night. That's why I'm going with a West Ham win with bet365
